ABOUT US
We are Gleam of Hope. A volunteering, not-for-profit mission-based organization founded in the USA in 2011. GOH conducts its operations in Petit-Goave, Haiti, approximately 60 miles southwest of Port-Au-Prince, the capital of Haiti. Our mission is to care for the physically, spiritually and academically disadvantaged orphans and abandoned children in that region.
Unlike most operating orphanages that provide temporary shelter to children, our approach is to build a safe haven, a home based schooling environment whereby the children can feel they are in a family community.
We are a team of passionate Christians devoted to be good Samaritans. We believe we are called to provide to those who need it the most without discrimination. That said, we also believe that in addition to believing and praying, education is an important distinction that will allow us to work with people from all backgrounds if we're truly going to make a difference.
So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them. Matt 7:12
